Seattle Children’s Home Parcel Officially Sold, Review Continues
Marc Stiles over at the Puget Sound Business Journal is reporting today that Toll Brothers has closed on the Seattle Children's Home parcel, paying approximately $14M for the 2.5 acre lot. The property is located between 9th and 10th Avenues and bordered on the North side by McGraw Street. It is currently planned for 59 units (reduced from 66 initially) most of which are townhomes. A review meeting for the latest design is planned but not yet scheduled. Construction would likely begin "in 2016".

"Toll Brothers, a national homebuilder, on Monday acquired a large, wooded property on Seattle's Queen Anne Hill, where's it's planning a 59-unit townhouse project.
A deed shows that Toll paid Seattle Children's Home just over $14 million for the 2.5-acre site, though the company paid $8 million to the nonprofit and will pay the remaining $6 million over time, said Brian Wulfestieg, a vice president at Toll, which builds luxury homes..."
