Has the Streamline Tavern found a new home?

As many know, The Streamline Tavern on Mercer Street was one of a number of businesses that may have been forced to move by the purchase of property for the location of a new Consulate building for the Republic of Korea. Other businesses that may be impacted include Radio Shack and Spic 'n Span Cleaners (recently closed it's doors). An application was filed on August 18th with the Washington State Liquor Control Board for the assumption of license of Jabu's Pub (174 Roy Street) including a change in name to "Streamline Tavern" with the new applicant listed as "Streamline II LLC". The Streamline may live on making many long time patrons happy. Stay tuned.
